I have interests in photography, listening music and watching world movies.
Photography is my favourite hobby... Whenever I get some time or go some places apart from travelling I used to take various photos. Most of my photos are subject centric. I want to capture various types of subjects. One of my favourite photography is on various aspects of my favourite city Kolkata... I tried to capture Streets of Kolkata, Palaces of Kolkata, Traditional Durga Puja of Kolkata, Some near obsolete to about-to-obsolete professions of Kolkata etc...
Wildlife photography is one of my ambitions apart from landscape photography. I still need to learn more about wildlife photography and will be planning to migrate to a better lens for that.
I can not live without music... Usually any kinds of Instrumental Music attracts me.... Though I am fond of Classical Indian instrumental musics and fusions apart from Light Western Instrumental musics and Orchestras,,,,( Beethoven, Mozart and Bach)..
Traditional Bengali Songs and Melodious Hindi Movie Songs are my favourite...
I usually get better concentration in work while listening Tagore Songs, which is my prime favourite..
My favourite Singers are Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey and Hemanta Muhopadhyay
I also listen modern bengali songs by Suman Chattopadhyay, Anjan Dutta and Nachiketa.
World movie watching is my recent favourite past-time..
my favourite directors are Satyajit Ray, Akira Kurosawa, Luis Bunuel and Vittorio De Sica.
